Producer & Creator Terms

Quote Accuracy

Submitted quotes are binding commitments. Prices, setup costs, and fulfillment rates quoted must reflect your actual costs and capabilities. If circumstances change before production begins, you must communicate this to the creator immediately. Do not simply decline to fulfill.

Production Timeline

Once a campaign finalizes, you are expected to begin production within a reasonable window consistent with the production time (weeks) shown on your quote. The production deadline is calculated as the campaign end date plus your stated production time.

If you anticipate a delay, notify the creator proactively. Unexplained delays past the production deadline may be reported to Merchenary and can affect your standing on the platform.

Fulfillment

You are responsible for fulfilling orders according to the method selected at quote confirmation (bulk-to-creator, drop-ship, or pickup). If drop-shipping, you must provide valid tracking numbers for each order.

Quality

Goods must match the specifications agreed upon in the quote (blank type, art placement, size run). If you discover a quality issue during production, notify the creator before shipping.

Art & Specifications

You must provide production-ready art files before or immediately after campaign finalization. Files must meet the producer's stated requirements. Delays in art delivery that push production past the deadline are the creator's responsibility.

Payment

Backer payments are captured through Stripe at finalization. Mechenary handles fund distribution. Producers are paid out according to the Merchenary payout schedule, typically within a few business days of finalization.

If a campaign is canceled before finalization, backer payment authorizations are released. Producers are compensated for work already completed only if a partial-fulfillment agreement is reached with Merchenary support.

Communication

Creators are expected to respond to producer questions within 2 business days during the active campaign and production period. Failure to respond may delay production without consequence to the producer.

Reporting Issues

Both creators and producers can file reports through their respective dashboards:

• Creators can report non-production (producer has not started or communicated about production).
• Producers can report non-payment (funds not received after campaign finalization).

Reports are reviewed by Merchenary. Filing a report does not automatically resolve a dispute. Merchenary will contact both parties and facilitate resolution.

Platform Consequences

Repeated or unresolved disputes can result in suspension or removal from the platform for either party. Mechenary's decision in disputes is final.
